Biography
Dr. Anusuyah Subbarao is currently Assistant Professor attached to Multimedia University Malaysia, where teaches and conducts research in the area of ERP Implementation, Global Software Development, Management Information System, Multimedia Management, Software Engineering, Database Management, Information Systems, Project Management, and Qualitative Research. Dr Anusuyah Subbarao had served the university in various capacities for the last 7 years such as Subject Matter Experts, Industrial Training Coordinator, Programme Coordinator, Quality Assurance Committee, Academic Internationalization Committee, APEL advisor for IT Management, Programme Review Committee, Academic Cluster Committee, and Internal Examiner. Besides teaching, she is also a certified trainer with over 20 years of experience in Malaysia and also abroad.
Dr. Anusuyah looks into the learning needs of the staff and designs customized training courses that include e-learning, cybersecurity, and qualitative research. The customers that have benefited from her expertise are the Royal Commission of Yanbu in Saudi Arabia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and Multimedia University. She has also completed research projects from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Multimedia University, and Malaysian Cybersecurity focusing on Global Software Development and malware prediction. She has also been appointed as an Instructional Design Expert to validate and evaluate the e-training system prototypes in Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Anusuyah Subbarao holds a Ph.D. in Software Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She is a scholarship recipient from the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education for her Ph.D. Her other academic qualifications include MSc in Computer Science majoring in Software Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia with a scholarship from Malaysia Public Service(JPA). She also has received various awards such as Best researcher, Best presenter, Best leadership in different categories.
She holds professional certificates such as the Certified TTT, EC-Council Certified Security Specialist, Certified Problem-Based Learning Practitioner for Education 4.0, member of Malaysian Software Engineering Interest Group, member of Qualitative Research Association of Malaysia(QRAM), and a professional technologist of the Malaysian Board of Technologies(MBOT).
