Biography
Dr. Loh is currently a Lecturer at the Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia. In the year 2019, she received her Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, and prior in the year 2013 had received her B.Eng. degree in Mechatronic Engineering with honours from UCSI University. Her specialization is in computer vision, image processing, deep learning, and machine learning. She has active research projects funded by MOE and industries both in the roles of principal investigator or active member. Moreover, she actively collaborates with researchers from both international and local institutions in various capacity including research and postgraduate student supervision. She also serves as an Organizing Committee for the international conference, IEEE ICIP 2023 and regularly contributes to the research community as Technical Program Committee member of conferences (IEEE ICME, MMSP, VCIP) and as reviewer for journal publications (Signal Processing Letters, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing). Dr. Loh is an active member of IEEE and is currently serving as an Editor for the IEEE Consumer Technology Society’s online publication, News on Consumer Technology (CTSoc-NCT), and is also a HRDF TTT Certified Trainer.
