Dr. Yeo Sook Fern is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business, Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia, and the Director of the Centre of Excellence for Business Innovation and Communication (CoEBIC). She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Service Innovation from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), a Master of Business Administration (Multimedia Marketing), and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) in Management from Multimedia University.
With more than 24 years of experience in academia, Dr. Yeo is actively involved in teaching, research, postgraduate supervision, and academic leadership. Her research interests include service innovation, consumer behaviour, social media marketing, branding, service marketing, digital transformation, technology adoption, sustainable business practices, and innovation management.
Dr. Yeo has published extensively in reputable international journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters. She has successfully secured and participated in various international, national, and university research grants. In addition, she serves as a reviewer, editor, and editorial board member for numerous international journals and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Malaysian Journal of Business, Economics and Management (MJBEM).
Beyond her academic contributions, Dr. Yeo actively promotes international collaboration through research partnerships, academic exchanges, and joint publications with universities and institutions across Asia. She is committed to advancing impactful research, fostering innovation, and contributing to sustainable development through knowledge creation and dissemination.
