Dr. Dennis Khong is an associate professor of the Faculty of Law. He teaches intellectual property and law-and-economics in the Bachelor of Law programme. Dr. Khong was the founding dean of the Faculty of Law, and is currently a member of the university senate. He is also the chair of the Centre for Law and Technology.
His research interests are intellectual property, information technology law and law-and-economics. He is also interested in the application of technology in law and lately is involved in research on large language models in law. Outside of campus, he is actively involved with the Asian Law and Economics Association and is a guest-editor of its journal, the Asian Journal of Law and Economics. He is also the editor-in-chief of the Asian Journal of Law and Policy.
For leisure, he likes reading non-fictions and writing computer programs on his Linux Mint PCs.
