Biography
Ir. Prof. Dr. Koo Voon Chet received his B.Eng. (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malaysia, in 1997. He obtained his M.Eng.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Multimedia University, Malaysia, in 1999 and 2005, respectively. He is the recipient of the inaugural Young Engineer Award by the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia in 2004. Prof. Koo is presently the Professor and the Chairperson of the Centre of Remote Sensing and Surveillance Technologies with the Multimedia University, the Chairperson of the IEEE Malaysia Section Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society Chapter, and a fellow of the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET).
