Biography
Dr. Liew Tze Wei, an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business, Multimedia University (MMU) in Melaka, Malaysia, instructs undergraduate information systems courses and mentors both undergraduate and postgraduate students, emphasizing problem-solving, communication, and analytical thinking skills. His current roles include overseeing Research and Innovation, Collaboration and Innovation, Knowledge Transfer, and Industrial Training, along with leading the Human-Centric Technology Interaction Special Interest Group. Furthermore, he serves as an advisory board member for government-related agencies and occasionally provides consultation to the Melaka City Council and other relevant government entities.
Dr. Liew Tze Wei's research interests and contributions intersect cognitive psychology, learning sciences, media psychology, cyberpsychology, human-computer interaction, and human-agent interaction, focusing on the experimental research approach. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and has chaired, presented, and collaborated on research presentations, lectures, and activities at various international scholarly conferences and venues, including Cambodia, Denmark, India, Indonesia, Japan, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. He promotes rigorous research practices in addressing the reproducibility crisis within social and psychological sciences, while also welcoming passionate research collaborators and student candidates interested in the aforementioned research areas.
