Thian Song Ong is a professor at the Faculty of Information Science and Technology, Multimedia University, Malaysia, serving with the Faculty of Information Science & Technology (FIST). He obtained his Ph.D. in Information Technology from Multimedia University and conducts research in the areas of machine learning and biometric security. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers and has been actively involved in academic research and supervision. Dr. Ong is a senior member of IEEE and a professional technologist registered with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT).He has served as General Chair of the ICoICT conference in 2017, 2019, and 2022, in addition to actively contributing to various technical committees for conferences in related fields.
