   Biography

Tenku Putri Norishah Tenku Shariman is a lecturer on Media Arts Studies, especially on Media Arts Research and Design, in the Faculty Creative Multimedia at Multimedia University.  She is the Chairperson of  the Centre for Islamic Digital Applications and Contents, a research and development centre involved in applied research of specialised digital multimedia products for Islamic content. Originally trained in computer based teaching and learning for English language proficiency, Tenku Putri's scope of interests has widened to include other forms of digital based contents that range from mobile or e-learning contents to electronic art contents. She has published articles on multimodal literacy, focusing on how individuals seek and understand information through the multiple modes of digital based content. Her research interests include the impact of new technologies on literacy and learning, and the development of interactive applications that have impact on the lives of individuals.
