Dr. Si Chong En (Josh) is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Management (FOM) at Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia, currently serving under the Quantitative Methods (QM) unit. With over a decade of teaching experience in the field of Quantitative Methods, he is recognised for his strong command of statistical analysis, marketing analysis and mathematical modelling, which he imparts effectively to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is proficient in a range of data analysis tools including Excel, SPSS, SmartPLS, KNIME Analytics Platform, R Programming, and EViews.
He completed his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), further solidifying his academic foundation in statistics, business analytics, and quantitative applications in marketing and education. His areas of expertise include statistics, Markov Chain modelling, gamification marketing, and educational management. His research contributes significantly to these fields and is frequently cited by fellow academics and professionals.
He actively supervises MBA, eMBA, MPhil, DBA, and PhD students, particularly in research areas related to statistics, marketing analytics, gamification, and quantitative modelling. His mentorship has supported many students in achieving academic and professional success.
He also contributes to scholarly publishing as a reviewer for the International Journal of Management, Finance and Accounting (IJOMFA). Furthermore, he is actively involved in university administrative roles, including serving on the Programme Maintenance Audit Committee for the Executive MBA (eMBA) and Bachelor of Digital Enterprise Management (BDEM) programmes.
He remains dedicated to academic excellence, research advancement, and postgraduate supervision. His passion for education and commitment to developing future analysts, marketers, and researchers are evident in his impactful work across teaching, research, and academic service.
