Santhi Ramanathan is a Senior Lecturer, leading the Economic Unit at Faculty of Business, Multimedia University, Melaka, Malaysia. She obtained a Bachelor degree in Analytical Economics (Honours) in 1999, Master degree in Economics in 2001 and PhD in Development Economics in year 2011 from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Santhi has extensive teaching experience, having taught numerous undergraduate modules and supervise post-graduate and research scholars. Her research interests include Development Economics, Globalisation and Sustainable Development. She has published several journal articles and book chapters at national and international level. Santhi has been involved in international collaborative work, appointed as external member of post graduate board of studies and as an international examiner of thesis. She has also been a chairperson and keynote speaker at international conferences.
