Biography
Ms. Salmi is an academic for Quantitative Method Unit at Faculty of Management (FOM). She obtained her Master of Applied Statistics from University of Malaya (UM) in 2010 and B.Sc. (Hons) in Actuarial Science from UKM in 2006. She has been attached to the education sector since 2011. At FOM, she teaches quantitative courses related to applied statistics and mathematics at various programme levels, including MBA programme. Ms.Salmi is also an active data analyst and is a proficient user of SPSS software. She has been invited as project members to act as data analyst and practices her statistical knowledge and skills through several external and internal projects since 2012. On the research aspect, her primary research interests are applied statistics in social science, mathematics education and health behaviors. Within her career journey, she has published several proceedings on her current research areas.
