Rapiah Mohd Zaini is a lecturer in accounting at Multimedia University of Malaysia. She is currently pursuing her PhD at local university. As an academician, she has written, presented and published a number of papers in Islamic finance, financial reporting and management areas. Her areas of research interest are Taxation and Islamic Taxation/Zakat, corporate governance and management areas including leadership. Prior to entering academia, she has worked with non-profit organization, manufacturing firms and consulting firm particularly in the area of accounting and internal auditing.
