Biography
Chan Teik Quan is a filmmaker and an assistant lecturer of the Faculty of Cinematic Arts at Multimedia University, Malaysia. His short film, 'Setting Moon', won the Jury's Choice and People's Choice Awards for Kancil 666 - Young Directors Challenge 2019, as well as the Silver Award - New Director Lotus at ADFEST 2021. His short films have been screened at various international film festivals, such as Singapore International Film Festival, Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival, Minikino Film Week, Cardiff International Film Festival and more.
He often draws inspiration from the mortality of human life and the impermanence of conditioned things.
