Biography
Dr. P. Chockalingam is an Mechanical Engineer and Lecturer in Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Multimedia University (MMU) Malaysia. I hold a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, India, an M.E. in Production Engineering from Anna University, India, and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Multimedia University, Malaysia. My research interests span manufacturing, machining, surface roughness, microwave cladding, additive manufacturing, Wind turbine, Laser Cutting and digital twins.
As a dedicated researcher, I take pride in my contributions, which include the publication of many articles in esteemed international peer-reviewed journals, boasting impressive citation scores. Actively engaged in securing research grants, I have played a vital role in advancing knowledge in my areas of expertise. My professional journey has taken me through academic institutions in both Malaysia and India, where I have served in various administrative capacities.
My affiliations with professional bodies, including the Indian Society for Technical Education and the International Association of Engineers, Malaysian Board of Technologist< Board Engineers Malaysia among others, have provided me with a robust network of colleagues and resources, which I believe can be valuable for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
