Biography
Nadia Mahmud is a Media Artist and 3D Generalist based in Kuala Lumpur. She received her BMm in Film and Animation from Multimedia University, Malaysia. She is interested in shading and texturing, animation and semiotics. She is currently a teaching staff in the
Animation & Visual Effects programme at the Faculty of Creative Multimedia, Multimedia University, Malaysia.
She has had her artwork exhibited locally and internationally. Her abstract digital artwork titled “Left” was exhibited in Malacca in 2010 along with a collaboration art concept of the Mahsuri Legend titled “Mahsuri: Re-Imagining the Legend” in 2009 (E-
Theatre, Multimedia University, Malaysia) and 2010 (National Visual Arts Gallery, Malaysia). Her latest collaborative effort, titled “Microspace” (2015) was exhibited at Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Seoul, South Korea.
