Biography
Dr. Mohd Rizal Abdul Razak currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business, MMU Melaka. Apart from his academic position, he is active in training and consultancy and has delivered many programs for corporate clients and government agencies within the last 15 years. He currently serves as a committee member looking into the feasibility of setting up a new bank called "Bank Luar Bandar Malaysia" (Rural Bank) under MARA. He is also a member of shariah advisory panel for Pisang Sdn Bhd and Koperasi Dinarpal Berhad, two entities that are coming together to offer electronic pawn broking services and an integrated Islamic Payment platform. More recently, Dr. Rizal was appointed as Advisor to the Center for Business Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) an NGO that aggregates contribution from corporate bodies and foreign embassies to deliver entrepreneurship training and financial grants to Malaysian youths particularly in the rural areas.
