Biography
Miza Mangsor is a broadcasting/communication lecturer at Multimedia University Cyberjaya Campus. She is currently under Faculty of Applied Communication which known as FAC. She received her MA Professional Communication, specialization in Film and Video from Edith Cowan University, Western Australia in 2008 and BA Communication (Hons) majoring in Broadcasting from University of Technology MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam campus, Malaysia in 2003. Miza Mangsor teaches several courses with special focus on broadcasting world such as basic understanding of video production, storyboarding, editing video to advance directing for Multi-camera production.
She began her early career in ASTRO and was part of production team in producing LIVE and recorded TV programs including reality shows, concerts and film and TV award shows. She then moved to creative production and landed herself as a creative writer for Mustika channel in 2009.
Her main research interests include film and cinema studies, documentary film making, domination culture in film, broadcasting, and
new media. Additionally, she is now expanding her interests to include volunteer tourism for her PhD journey.
