Biography
Mawar Madiah is the lecturer of the Faculty of Information Science and Technology at Multimedia University (MMU), Melaka, Malaysia, and teaches the foundation students. She teaches computer subjects such as programming, web design, and Microsoft Office applications.
Before being a lecturer at MMU, she was an analyst programmer for about 5 years at an industry company in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Together with other team members, she was responsible for developing systems for a few government agencies, such as PORIM, Dewan Bahasa and Pustaka, and the Ministry of Higher Education. In addition, she was also involved in the development team to develop systems for companies such as New Straits Times Press, Puspakom, and other small companies.
Her research interest is in the human-computer interaction area, and she has published a few articles on this topic. Her passion is always learning new skills and getting new knowledge.
She graduated from Clarkson University, New York, in June 1993 with a Bachelor of Computer Science and completed her Master of Computer Science in Software Engineering from Universiti Teknikal Melaka in September 2010.
