Biography
Mawar Madiah is a lecturer at the Faculty of Information Science and Technology, Multimedia University (MMU), Melaka, Malaysia, where she teaches foundation-level students. Her subjects include computer programming, web design, and Microsoft Office applications.
Before joining MMU, she worked as an analyst programmer for about five years in the private sector in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. During this time, she collaborated with other team members to develop systems for several government agencies, including PORIM, Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, and the Ministry of Higher Education. She was also involved in system development projects for companies such as New Straits Times Press, Puspakom, and various smaller enterprises.
Her research interests lie in human-computer interaction, and she has published several articles on this topic. She is passionate about continually learning new skills and acquiring new knowledge.
Mawar Madiah earned her Bachelor of Computer Science from Clarkson University, New York, in June 1993. She completed her Master of Computer Science in Software Engineering at Universiti Teknikal Melaka in September 2010.
