Biography
Ms Lim Liyen holds a Bachelor of Information Technology in IT Management from Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia, equipping her with foundational and advanced knowledge in IT management, systems, and technologies. She also earned a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree from MMU, which provided her with a deep understanding of her chosen field and experience with methodologies relevant to her research focus.
She is currently a foundation lecturer in the Faculty of Information Science and Technology at MMU. This role likely involves teaching foundational courses for students in information science and technology, possibly covering essential IT topics such as Operating Systems and Computer Architecture. Her research interests are in online education and e-learning which focuses on the use of digital platforms and tools to enhance learning experiences. She served as the Programme Coordinator for the Diploma of Information Technology at MMU from 2022 to 2023. This role involved management of the diploma programme, including workload assignment, curriculum planning, student advising and administrative tasks.
