Biography
Ir. Lee Lian Hong Profile:
Ir. Lee Lian Hong received his Master of Engineering Science Degree (M.Eng.Sc) in year 2011 from Multimedia University and obtained his Professional Engineer title (Electronic) in year 2014. His Master research interests are in the field of High Speed Photonic Access Network. He has published 5 international journals and 1 conference paper on fiber optic access network. He is currently a lecturer in Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Multimedia University. He has involved in consultancy on High Speed Broadband (HSBB) project in year 2009 with Apex Communications Sdn. Bhd. The project covers whole area of Shah Alam, known as the i-city of Selangor. He also covers project in Bangsar and Subang Jaya. He involved in setting up the physical layout and standard testing procedures in this project. By testing the fiber cables, he is able to foresee the condition of the fiber cable between the central office and the customer premises. He is able to judge where the cable break or high bending lost.
On the other hand, he is also the trainer for Commercial Optical Simulation software such as Optisys and Optsim. He had conducted training at various Universities and research centers.
In Faculty of Engineering and Technology, he has been teaching subjects related to fiber optic access network such as Optoelectronics and Optical Communications.
