Dr Audrey Lim Li Chin is a senior lecturer and a researcher in Multimedia University (MMU). She was appointed as the Head of Banking and Finance department in Faculty of Business (FOB) and has also served as the Deputy MBA programme coordinator in the faculty. She teaches both the undergraduate programme in Banking & Finance Programme and the postgraduate programme. Prior to joining Multimedia University, she was a lecturer teaching finance and economics in INTI University in Malaysia and in Beijing. Her doctoral thesis was nominated as the Best Thesis by Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) (AACSB Accredited). She holds both a bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MBA-Finance degree (Distinction) from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). She is particularly interested in Fintech especially in Blockchain Technology, Cryptocurrency, and Data Analytics, Behavioral Finance, Retirement Planning and Mental Health. She is also a Certified Financial Planner, (CFP), member of Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM) , an affiliate member of Registered Financial Planner (RFP) and is currently pursuing a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) professional qualification.
