Biography
Kim Piew Lai graduated from the National University of Malaysia with a B.A. in Communication (1996) and an M.Sc. in Quality and Productivity Improvement (1997). He worked in the manufacturing and service industries, focusing on telecommunications, automotive supplies, and healthcare management from 1997 to 2008. Since 2008, Dr Lai has been with Multimedia University, Malaysia as a lecturer at the Faculty of Business where he earned his Ph.D. in 2016. He is an active researcher and has published articles in the areas of health communication, servicescape, branding, and management.
