Dr. Kogilah Narayanasamy is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business, Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Information Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia and has extensive experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in areas such as information systems, digital business, and e-commerce.
She has over 18 years of academic and industry experience, including consultancy roles in business development and startup implementation, where she has successfully guided the establishment of entrepreneurial ventures and kiosk-based businesses.
Her research interests span artificial intelligence in business, digital transformation, e-commerce, entrepreneurship, human-computer interaction, and technology adoption. She has led and participated in multiple funded research projects, including work on cyberbullying prevention systems and AI-driven process optimization.
Dr. Kogilah is actively involved in mentoring students for international business competitions, serving as a judge and panelist, and fostering innovation and entrepreneurial development. She has received international recognition, including awards in business and e-commerce innovation competitions.
She is also a certified trainer and has collaborated with industry partners and research institutions to drive impactful research, consultancy, and grant-funded initiatives that bridge academia and industry.
