Ivan Ku received his B.Eng. degree in Electronics and M.Eng.Sc. degree in Telecommunications from Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia, in 2001 and 2006, respectively. He earned his Ph.D. in Wireless Communications in 2013 through a joint program between Heriot-Watt University and the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. His doctoral studies were supported by the Mobile VCE (Virtual Center of Excellence), a collaborative U.K. research initiative in mobile communications funded by industry and government agencies. In 2017, he was awarded the Erasmus Mundus LEADERS scholarship (Staff Level), funded by the European Union under the Erasmus Mundus program. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Engineering at Multimedia University, Cyberjaya. His research interests include cooperative MIMO systems, joint sensing and communication (JSAC), cognitive radio networks, and green communications.
