Dr. Kalaiarasi Sonai Muthu Anbananthen is a Professor at the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FIST), Multimedia University. She holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, and her research focuses on data mining, sentiment analysis, deep learning, and the development of AI-driven intelligent systems for real-world data analysis and decision-making. She has published over 150 journal articles, conference papers, and book chapters, and actively serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several Scopus- and SCI-indexed journals. Dr. Kalaiarasi is also a registered Professional Technologist with the Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT) and a Certified Big Data Professional (Arcitura). In addition to her academic work, she conducts AI and data analytics training programs for government agencies and organisations, including MDEC and MOSTI. She also contributes as a MyRA Auditor and currently serves as an external examiner for the Diploma in Information Technology program at Mahsa University.
