Biography
Dr. Kwan Jing Hui is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Management (FOM), Multimedia University (MMU), bringing nearly two decades of academic and industry experience in Corporate Finance. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Corporate Finance from the University of Malaya (UM), a Master of Finance from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, and graduated with First Class Honours in BBA Banking & Finance from MMU.
Dr. Kwan is recognized for her expertise in curriculum development, student mentorship, and fostering academic excellence. As Program Coordinator, she oversees key initiatives that enhance the educational experience. Her research interests include Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, and Sustainable Finance, with her findings published in various academic journals. Beyond her academic responsibilities, Dr. Kwan collaborates with industry partners and organizations like the CFA Institute, mentors professionals, and has secured research grants, including those from the FRGS.
She values innovation in education, incorporating blended learning, educational technology, and team-based teaching methodologies into her work. Dr. Kwan is a certified Google Educator, HRDF TTT trainer, and Microsoft Certified Educator, and has provided professional training for organizations such as Telekom Malaysia. Her contributions to teaching and research have been recognized with several awards, including Gold Medal at the IDE4 Teaching and Learning Exhibition (IDE4TE), organized by the Network of Industry Driven Education Alliance (GLU IDE4) and co-organized by the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
Dr. Kwan is dedicated to the ongoing development of education and society, and she continues to contribute meaningfully to the field of Corporate Finance while supporting the growth of future professionals.
