Biography
Nor Idayu binti Ahmad Azami is an academic at MMU under the Faculty of Computing and Information. She was a former Head of Programs at INTI International University, specializing in Information Technology and Computer Science. She oversees the Diploma in Information Technology, Diploma in Computer Science, and Diploma in Information Technology (Learning Simplified) programs. She played a key role in securing full accreditation for the Diploma in Computer Science (DCSC) program from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) in 2024.
Ms. Nor Idayu holds a Master of Science (Information Technology) from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), where her research focused on data integration and discretization techniques for spatial correlation modeling. Her academic contributions include publications in reputable journals and participation in international conferences. She has also received accolades such as the New Era Teaching Excellence Award (2020) and the Best Paper Award at ICOCI 2017.
Beyond academia, she has contributed to industry-related initiatives, including research grants and cybersecurity training. She is a certified Huawei ICT Academy Instructor and has completed professional certifications in cybersecurity risk management, ISO 9001:2015 quality management, and digital forensic training.
She actively engages in academic committees, curriculum development, and MQA accreditation processes, ensuring high-quality education for students in computing and IT fields.
