Biography
Ai Hui Tan graduated with first class honours in Electronic Engineering from the University of Warwick, UK, in 1999. She was awarded a Ph.D. in 2002 by the University of Warwick. Her research interests are in the fields of system identification and signal processing.
She joined the Faculty of Engineering, Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia, in 2002, where she is now a Professor. She was a consultant to Agilent Technologies from 2012–2013. She authored the book Industrial Process Identification: Perturbation Signal Design and Applications, published by Springer in 2019.
Prof. Tan has served as a member of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) Technical Committee on Modelling, Identification and Signal Processing since 2005. She is a Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council, UK.
