Biography
GOH Hui Ngo has more than 20 years of teaching experience in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology.
As an academic staff, she has constantly and actively involved in various activities such as supervising and co-supervising undergraduate and post-graduate students; project leader and/or project member of government grants; designing syllabus and contents to ensure it is the state of the art; encourage and guide students to join competition such as Hackathon.
As a management leader in the capacity of Deputy Dean, and Dean, she has demonstrated her leadership, and contributed to the faculty, and university as a whole. To state some, she has successfully bid and secured national and international projects; designed, revised, and oversee programs; staff development. Her research area is in text processing, sentiment analysis, social network analytics, big data related works. She has secured government and private grants, journal, and conference publications, consultancy jobs, reviewers, and working committees of workshops/conferences.
As a trainer, she has been conducted pieces of training on “Social Media Analytics”, “Big Data Essentials”, “Text Processing using Python”, “Big Data Awareness”, “Applied Artificial Intelligence”, “Applied Data Engineering”, and "Prompt Engineering" . She is a certified HRDF trainer
