Biography
Dr. Hasmida Jamaluddin is a lecturer attach to Faculty of Business, Multimedia University. She is currently the Head of Department for Knowledge Management, Economic and Quantitative Analysis since the year of 2012. She holds PhD in Management from Multimedia University, Master of Science in Information Technology from University of Science Malaysia and Bachelor in Business Administration (MIS) from Saint Louis University (USA).
She has more than 17 years of experiences in teaching undergraduate and MBA students in various subjects and prior to that, she had worked as software project manager and system programmer for more than 5 years. She has conducted few trainings in the area of management with Telekom Malaysia and in MMU itself. She is also active as a head of committe members handling judging process for international competition such as EBes and IBIC for 3 years consecutively.
Her research areas mainly in Cyberloafing, Internet addiction, Information Systems and Organizational Behaviour. Her papers have been presented in numerous International conferences and journals. In 2020, she has been invited as Keynote Speaker at International Conference at Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar, India and also become as Panelist in International Exchange Student program with Mercu Buana Universitas, Indonesia.
