Mr. Mohd Haris Lye Abdullah received his B.Eng. (Hons) in electronic and electrical engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia (1996) and his Master of Science in information technology from Multimedia University in 2005. Since February 2005, he has been a member of the academic staff of the Faculty of Engineering, Multimedia University (MMU). He is passionate about teaching and frequently tries to implement new innovative teaching methods for his lessons. His research interest lies in the area of deep learning techniques for computer vision in disease identification and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for education. He has conducted training for the industries and published more than 20 research articles in the field of computer vision. Recently he has started to investigate the application of large language model to assist educators to be more productive in their teaching practice.
