Dr. Gan Chin Lay holds the position of Associate Professor with the Faculty of Business at Multimedia University (MMU) in Melaka, Malaysia. Her doctoral research explored the integration of mobile technology within higher education institutions. Her academic interests and expertise lie in cybercriminology, consumer technology and digital sociology, with a specific focus on cybercrime victimization utilizing structural equation modeling analysis. She instructs undergraduate courses in information technology and fosters the academic development of students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Currently, she plays a leadership role as a Teaching and Learning Agent (TALENT), collaborating with the LEARN center to oversee strategic and operational initiatives in program innovation and teaching excellence, in alignment with contemporary advancements in higher education. Additionally, she serves as the Programme Coordinator for the Digital Business Management programme.
