Biography
Dr. Gan Chin Lay holds the position of Assistant Professor with the Faculty of Business at Multimedia University (MMU) in Melaka, Malaysia. Her doctoral research explored the integration of mobile technology within higher education institutions. Her academic interests and expertise lie in learning analytics, educational technologies, consumer purchasing behaviors, and cybercrime, with a specific focus on victimization studies, utilizing structural equation modeling analysis. She instructs undergraduate courses in information systems and fosters the academic development of students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Currently, she plays a leadership role as a Teaching and Learning Agent (TALENT), collaborating with the LEARN center to oversee strategic and operational initiatives in program innovation and teaching excellence, in alignment with contemporary advancements in higher education. Additionally, she serves as the Deputy Head of Department within the Digital Business Management Unit.
