Biography
Dr. Yeoh Eng Thiam is a Senior Lecturer in Faculty of Computing & Informatics, Multimedia University, Malaysia and has more than twenty years working experience in the I.T. industry, ranging from software development to academic and consultancy work. He obtained his PhD from Multimedia University in 2009, after obtaining his M.Phil degree from University of Cambridge, England and his first degree in Computer Science from National University of Malaysia (UKM).
Dr. Yeoh is well-versed with many computing environments and development tools and methodologies and is active in research projects in the areas of e-learning, software engineering, multimedia education, fuzzy systems and big data. He has also held many administrative positions such as Enterprise Business Manager of Multimedia University, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Computing & Informatics, and was a panel member of the MQA Computing Standards 2009 that is followed by Malaysian higher learning institutions. He has worked closely with many industry partners such as Multimedia Development Corporation, Malaysian Qualification Agency and a number of companies in I.T. consultancy work.
