Ku Day Chyi received the B.Eng. (Honors) degree in electrical and electronics engineering and the M.S. degree in computer systems engineering from University Putra Malaysia, Selangor, Malaysia, in 2000 and 2002, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in engineering design from Brunel University, London, U.K., in 2007. She was then with Frontier Developments Ltd., Cambridge, U.K., to work on the next-generation game engine during her final year of Ph.D. studies, in 2006. Since 2008, she has been with the Faculty of Computing and Informatics, MMU, Cyberjaya, Malaysia. Her current research interests include artificial intellegence, data science, and coevolutionary computation. She is also an HRDC-accredited trainer, actively involved in professional training and capacity building.
