Biography
Dr. Lim Chee Siong obtained his B.Eng. (Hons) Electronics majoring in Telecommunications and M.Eng.Sc. from the Multimedia University, Malaysia, in 2004 and 2009, respectively.
He began his career as an R&D research officer at Multimedia University in the year 2004. His main task was to study Image Formation Algorithms for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and to develop a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Signal Simulation and Processing using MATLAB. In the year 2009, he has completed the SAR Signal Simulation and Processing program using MATLAB and was granted the M.Eng.Sc.
In his 6 years of working experience as an R&D research officer, he has accumulated experiences and knowledge in MATLAB, He has conducted several training courses related to the application of MATLAB for industrial, such as SAR Signal Processing at the Malaysian Centre for Remote Sensing (MACRES) in the year 2007; and SAR Signal Simulation and Processing at Agensi Remote Sensing Malaysia (ARSM) in the year 2009. Besides, he also conducted courses for Basic Instrument at Flextronics Technology (Shah Alam) Sdn Bhd in the year 2008. In the year 2009, he went to Sudan and conducted an Introduction to Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) at Zeta Automation.
He is currently a lecturer at Multimedia University since the year 2010. Besides teaching in the engineering course, he continues his research work as an active member in several research projects such as Enhancement of C-band SAR and The Development of a Multi-frequency Polarimetric Scatterometer (funded by ARSM).
