Biography
Dr. Teh obtained his Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with first class honours from University of Malaya (Malaysia) in 1996. He obtained his M.Eng.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Multimedia University (Malaysia) and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Malaysia), respectively.
Dr. Teh has been with Multimedia University as an academic staff since 1998. Over the years, he has taught a wide varieties of Electrical Engineering subjects, e.g. mathematics, physics, programming, computer architecture, electronics, communications, electromagnetics, power systems, and electrical machines.
His fields of research include radio wave propagation and ray tracing. He has served as peer reviewer for a number of journals e.g. IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation and Progress in Electromagnetics Research.
Dr. Teh has participated in several collaboration projects with a number of Japanese agencies and companies, e.g. JICA, NICT, JRC and Fujitsu. He was a recipient of URSI Young Scientist Award in 2005.
