Chew Yee Jian (chewyeejian@mmu.edu.my) received his Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) and Master of Science in Information Technology from Multimedia University, Malaysia, in 2017 and 2019. He is currently a Lecturer with the Faculty of Information Science and Technology at Multimedia University, Malaysia, where he is also pursuing a PhD in Information Technology. His PhD research focuses on the factors affecting forest fires in Peninsular Malaysia.
Prior to this, he was a lecturer in the School of Computer Science at Taylor’s University, with over eight years of teaching experience at the diploma and undergraduate levels. He has authored more than ten research articles. His research interests include machine learning, forest fire prediction, environmental science, computer networks, and cybersecurity.
