Associate Professor Dr. Tan Booi Chen is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Management at Multimedia University. She previously served as the Deputy Dean, where she spearheaded postgraduate programs, research initiatives, and industry collaborations. With an academic career spanning more than twenty years, Dr. Tan is deeply committed to teaching, high-level research, and student supervision. Her primary research interests include marketing, consumer behavior, and sustainability, with a specialized focus on green marketing, corporate social responsibility, and the role of assistive technologies in society especially for elderly well-being.
As a distinguished scholar, Dr. Tan has served as the Principal Investigator for numerous external and internal grants and contributes as a member to several others. Her research is widely published in prestigious Thomson ISI and Scopus-indexed journals. Currently, she contributes to the academic community as the Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Management and Finance- indexed in MyCite (MMU Press) and as a reviewer for several leading publications.
