Biography
Dr. Azrena Mohd Noor is currently a Senior Lecturer at Multimedia University and has served the university for over 23 years. With a PhD in Management, specialising in Change Management, she has dedicated her career to understanding the dynamics of organisational transformation and the strategies that drive successful change initiatives. She also graduated with an MSc. in Corporate Communication and a BEd. TESL (Hons). The interplay of these disciplines allows Dr. Azrena to approach change management holistically. She combines her management acumen with communication strategies and educational principles to create an enriched learning experience for her students. Her courses often emphasise the significance of clear communication in leadership, the role of cultural competence in organisational behaviour, and the importance of fostering an inclusive environment during times of change.
Over the last two decades, she has taught numerous subjects such as English for Business, Workplace Communication, Introduction to Business, Management, Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Research Methodology and University Study Skills. Prior to her position at Multimedia University, she was a secodary school teacher and an Assistant Producer with the News Department at NTV7.
Dr. Azrena is an active trainer certified by HRDC and SMR HR Group. With more than 12 years of training experience under her belt, she has trained participants from coporate companies in areas such as Managing Change, Winnable Relationships, Leadership Skills, Business English for Executive and Non-Executives, Facilitating Group Discussions, Effective Presentation Skills, Persuasive Skills, Workplace Communication, Accent Reduction, and many more.
