Biography
Abdul Aziz Ahmad, PhD is a self motivated person with high teamwork aspirations. As the youngest in the family of eight, he tends to be very independent and hardworking. He has an inclination towards the creative side in relation to his hobbies. He is very much into interior design and performing arts.
His tertiary education started with a Diploma in Accounting, Bachelor of Accounting and continues until Masters of Science, Information Technology from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). Completed his PhD in Accounting in 2011 from Manchester Business School, he is currently a lecturer in Multimedia University, Cyberjaya.
During his PhD Journey, three of his papers were accepted for international conferences on information systems.
Prior to his teaching life, he worked as an accountant for various companies which includes transportation / logistics and universities for nine years. As to date, he has ten years teaching experience and his teaching areas are mainly accounting and information systems related subjects. He teaches both undergraduates and postgraduates courses.
His research interest mainly focused on information systems development (ISD) and shared services and outsourcing (SSO). He is currently a project member on three different projects which includes a 3-year CIMA grant on Global Business Services (GBS) which is in collaboration with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and two short-term projects.
A simple person who attempts to have the ability to accumulate, analyze and disseminate valuable knowledge in order to gain more for future benefits. To excel in research areas that has material impact to the nations development.
