Biography
Aziah Ali is a lecturer at the Faculty of Computing & Informatics, Multimedia University. She received her PhD from the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She teaches courses such as Web Programming, Computer Graphics, Digital Image Processing and Multimedia Fundamental courses for undergraduates, diploma and foundation students. She is passionate about imparting wisdom and knowledge to students and ensuring the course objectives are achieved by the end of each course. She continuously pursues lifelong learning with the objective of upskilling herself with new technologies and building her research networks. Her research interests include image and signal processing focusing on the biomedical field. More specifically, her work examines how image and signal processing techniques could contribute towards better and more efficient ways of analysing and understanding medical data such as images and signals. She is now discovering new areas that can potentially benefit from image and signal processing, especially in industries. Her key area is in Data Analytics and she is proficient in MATLAB, Python, PowerBI, Google Looker Studio, SQL, PHP, and HTML. She has published articles on biomedical data processing in indexed journals and peer-reviewed conference proceedings.
