Nurul Amirah Mashudi is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Engineering (FAIE) at Multimedia University (MMU). She is currently finalizing her PhD (thesis correction phase) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Kuala Lumpur, where she also earned her Master of Science in Systems Engineering and Bachelor of Computer Science in Graphics and Multimedia Software.
She brings five years of industry experience alongside a decade of technical expertise in image processing and computer vision, and six years specializing in machine and deep learning applications. Her research interests include image processing, image analysis, generative AI, and machine learing and deep learning, with practical applications spanning fields such as healthcare, agriculture, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
Active in the professional community, she has served as a committee member for the IEEE KL Subsection and was a Visiting Researcher at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Canada. She was also a recipient of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) travel grant to attend IEEE ICIP 2024 in Abu Dhabi.
