Adam Bin Idris is a lecturer in the Faculty of Law, Multimedia University (MMU), Melaka. He is an accomplished legal professional and academic with 17 years of diverse experience spanning teaching, legal consultancy, and organizational management. With more than 8 years in academia, he has demonstrated excellence in delivering engaging legal education, and crafting assessments. His 9 years in the legal and organizational spheres include providing expert advisory on employment, labour relations, and human rights issues, as well as spearheading impactful advocacy initiatives, such as successfully lobbying for the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act in 2022.
Adam is also highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, strategic partnerships, and project management, with a proven track record of securing funding for innovative projects. He has been involved in multiple media experience, participated in round table discussions on government policies and initiatives, invited as speaker and organised international and local events, including, but not limited to workshops, conferences and forum. He is a dynamic professional committed to fostering critical thinking, advancing legal scholarship, and driving meaningful societal change.
