Noor Ziela Abd Rahman received her B.Eng. (Hons.) in Electronics from Multimedia University in 2007, her M.Eng. (Electrical) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2013, and her PhD in Engineering from Multimedia University in 2023. She began her career in 2007 as a Telecommunication Engineer at Telekom Malaysia before joining Multimedia University in 2009 as an academic staff member. She is currently with the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Multimedia University, where she serves as Deputy Dean, Academic and Innovative Learning.
She has actively developed her technical and research leadership through her involvement as a Principal Investigator and project member in FRGS, TM R&D, FRDGS grants and Multimedia University internal grants. Her commitment to industry-relevant research also led her to undertake an industrial attachment at Webe Digital Sdn. Bhd. from July 2019 to June 2020, where she served as an RF Planner and strengthened her practical expertise in radio frequency planning and telecommunication network deployment.
To date, she has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers in wireless communication, radio propagation, antenna systems, 5G networks, indoor positioning, artificial intelligence applications and engineering education. Her combined academic, research, grant, publication, and industrial experience reflect a strong leadership profile in both academic administration and emerging intelligent technologies.
