Biography
Dr. Sarah A’fifah Binti Abdullah Sani is a Senior Lecturer at Multimedia University, Cyberjaya. She holds a PhD in Engineering and Physical Sciences from Southampton University, UK, where her research focused on the numerical investigation of oscillating flapping foils for energy harvesting. Dr. Sarah also holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Bachelor of Mathematical Science (Honours) from the International Islamic University Malaysia.
Throughout her academic career, Dr. Sarah has demonstrated expertise in areas such as energy harvesting, numerical analysis, and data structures. She has taught various courses, including programming concepts, probability and statistics, and object-oriented system analysis. Her commitment to education is also reflected in her role as a mentor, where she supervises final-year and master’s students.
Before joining Multimedia University, Dr. Sarah held positions as an Assistant Professor at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman and a teaching instructor at the International Islamic University Malaysia. She has also worked as a consultant on Natural Language Processing projects and published research on AI adoption, flood frequency analysis, and educational technology.
Her dedication to both teaching and research continues to impact the academic community, contributing to advancements in her field while supporting student development and academic growth.
