Radziah binti Shaikh Abdullah was born in Melaka. She is married with four children.
Radziah started her formal education at Convent Infant Jesus Primary School Melaka. She studied in Infant Jesus Convent Melaka until she was 17 years old. After she had finished High School, she was offered to study the Science matriculation at MARA College in Kulim Kedah.
She is a graduate from Universiti Putra Malaysia, where she received a Bachelor in Science majoring in Biotechnology. After graduating, she started working at the Biotechnology Center in MARDI Serdang for only about one year. Working in MARDI made her realized that she is interested more in teaching rather than doing research. So, in 1997 she started working as a lecturer at PTPL college in Ampang (1997 – 1999) and Shah Alam (1999 – 2001).
In 2002, Radziah moved back to Melaka and started working at KYS Melaka as a Science teacher teaching secondary school students. Two years later, she was offered to be a foundation lecturer at MMU Melaka teaching Biology and Chemistry. She has worked in MMU for almost 20 years now and shall continue her service here.
