Biography
Dr. Nur Erlida binti Ruslan is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Faculty Computing & Informatics (FCI) at Multimedia University (MMU), Cyberjaya Campus. She obtained her PhD specializing in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and her research focus is in Medical Image Processing from Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), and a member of the Centre of Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (CAIRO), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. She is also a research collaborator with the National Heart Institute (IJN) Kuala Lumpur. Besides that, she obtained the Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree from the Universiti Putra Malaysia majoring in Software Engineering, in 2008 and 2005 respectively.
With more than 16 years of teaching and learning, she is also actively involved in her research interests including medical image segmentation, machine learning, and deep learning. She hopes to bring her vast years of experience, expertise, and highly intuitive nature to the forefront of guiding university students on the right career path.
