Dr. Noramiza Hashim graduated with a Diplôme d’Ingénieur (Master of Science in Engineering) from the Higher Institute for Advanced Technologies of Saint-Etienne (ISTASE) Université Jean Monnet, France in 2002. She also acquired a D.E.A (Diplôme d’Etude Approfondie / Master Degree in Research) from the same university. In 2008, she obtained her Ph.D in Information Technology under a joint Ph.D program between Multimedia University, Malaysia and Université de La Rochelle, France.
She is currently lecturing at the Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Multimedia University. She is a member of IEEE and a professional technologist under the Malaysian Board of Technologist. Her research interests are mainly on digital image processing, object recognition, computer vision and machine learning.
