Khairol Nizat Lajis is a distinguished Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Information Science & Technology at Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with honors from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and his Master of Information Technology with a specialization in Computer Science from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
Khairol commenced his academic career at MMU in 2000, joining as an Assistant Lecturer in the Foundation Studies and Extension Education (FOSEE) division. Over the years, he has made significant contributions to the university, particularly in teaching computer application and programming courses. His pedagogical expertise extends beyond the classroom as he is also a dedicated trainer for both local community members and international participants, demonstrating his commitment to disseminating knowledge widely.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Khairol is actively engaged in research, particularly through his involvement with the Center for Intelligent Cloud Computing (CICC). His research interests and contributions have solidified his reputation as a key figure in the field of cloud computing and information technology. His dedication to both education and research continues to enhance the academic and technological landscape at MMU and beyond.
