Nurul Hidayah Hanani Mohamed Kadri or better known as Hanani, is a lecturer at Faculty of Applied Communication, Multimedia University. She graduated from Multimedia University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons.) Media Innovation from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia. In 2015, she obtained a Master of Corporate Communication from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Hanani has about 5 years of industrial experience in branding, advertising, marketing, corporate communication/public relations, and new media content management. She jump-started her career with Telekom Malaysia Bhd dealing with content management. She then moved on to Johor Port Bhd and became a PR Practitioner. Later, she joined Cyberview Sdn Bhd focusing on brand and advertising.
Hanani then decided to transition to academia where she has remained for the past 4 years. Hanani previously worked on an international research project under Institute for Social Science Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia and on a consultancy research project under UPM Consultancy & Services Sdn Bhd.
Her research interests are communication technology, human communication, computer-mediated communication, mobile-mediated communication, and new media.
